Keystone Conservation facilitates means for residents of the Northern Rockies to be proactive about coexistence with grizzlies and black bears.
Our activities include Bear Aware programs in Red Lodge and Bozeman, Living with Wildlife workshops in the Madison Valley, and assistance to landowners and outfitters to secure human food and garbage across the state. Further, we are leading a discussion the future of bears with school age children in communities from DuPuyer to Ennis.
As the Northern Rockies continue to attract newcomers to the ‘third coast’ of development, Keystone Conservation is gearing up to increase our ability to help residents be Bear Aware. By working with community partners in areas where bears roam, we help control human-caused attractants, such as bird feeders and garbage, to help carry out our responsibility to wild neighbors.
